Contribution of our Chair at the CFSM Symposium 2024
The CFSM Symposium will take place on the 29th of May at ETH Zurich (main building). Our research project funded by the 5th Call of the Mobiliy Initiative on “Designing explainable AI-based systems for collaborative use iin the railways” will be represented by Lena Schneider at the poster session.
Booklaunch gta papers 8: The Crit - roundtable participation
A presentation of the new issue of gta papers with guest editors Amy Perkins and Jeremy Waterfield and a roundtable will take place today at 7pm at ETH Hönggerberg. Kim Helmersen, contributor of the gta article “Interaction Rituals and the Role of the Crit in the Shaping of Studio Cultures” will participate at the roundtable discussion.

Contribution of our Chair at CHI 2024
The annual ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) CHI conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems took place May 11-16 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Our Chair was represented with the contribution “Establishing control via targeted explanations: how XAI enables stakeholder negotiations about the distribution of accountability and control in safety-critical domains” to the workshop on human-centered XAI by Lena Schneider, Gudela Grote and Daniel Boos.
New publication
The article "Understanding stakeholders’ intention to use construction robots: a fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis" by Sihui Wu, Aniko Kahlert, and various collaborators has been published in the special issue “Robotics and AI” of the Journal on Construction Robotics.
